Gargoyle In Architecture
October 31, 2011 by staff
Decorated with gargoyles and Gothic architecture of the whole, with fluorescent lighting that looked like a scene from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but was one of several points of a fabulous night of good music.
This was the fifth visit Erasure St. David’s Hall and the event began with a first set with Frankmusik who gave more than half an hour including the catchy synth pop it in the morning and ID No
After a half hour break aka Erasure Andy Bell and Vince Clarke appeared on stage with dazzling red jackets with Andy helmet sporting a Roman centurion. As Vince sat on his gargoyle-style synthesizer, Andy launched into the song Sono Luminous as the audience stood to the side of the pop classic atmosphere of the 80′s.
Success as always, Blue Savannah, sometimes a little respect and were presented with songs from the new Erasure album Tomorrows world, including Be With You and A Whole Lotta Love Run Riot.
Andy Bell proved to be the consummate entertainer, often chatting with the public and are really pleased with the huge audience had given Cardiff Erasure.
Unlike many bands of their time Erasure actually sound better live than on their recordings and definitely not to be missed when they return to Cardiff in the future!
