Gaga Charlie Brown, In what is being seen by some as a victory of traditional values over progressive ones, the holiday classic Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving beat out a special concert performance by lefty pop star Lady Gaga.

Entertainment Weekly reports the 38-year-old cartoon classic drew in 11.2 million viewers and a 3.6 adult demo rating, beating out Lady Gaga’s A Very Gaga Thanksgiving. The 90-minute special, which toned down the “Little Monster”‘s outrageous fashion sense and politics in favor of a duet with Tony Bennett and drawing paper turkeys with children, got 5.4 million viewers and a 1.6 demo.

Out of all the television holiday specials aired Thanksgiving evening, Fox’s Ice Age: Mammoth Christmas won with 7.1 million viewers and a 2.3 demo.

Overall, a repeat of the CBS comedy Big Bang Theory won the night 11.2 million viewers and a 3.6 adult demo rating.
