Gadhafi Photo DeadGadhafi Photo Dead, The resistance of Colonel Gaddafi reportedly ended today as it was killed during the taking of Sirte. One official said the ousted dictator of Libya had been shot in the legs during capture, but he was also beaten in the head during the shooting.

Gaddafi is said to have died shortly after the last rebel fighters defending their supporters invaded the coastal city of Sirte – ending the last remnants of his 42 years to keep Libya.

Libyan National Transition Council official said Gaddafi Mlegta Abdel Majid was captured and wounded in both legs at dawn today while trying to flee in a convoy of NATO planes attacked.

“He was also beaten on the head.” Said the official. “There was a lot of shots against their group, and died.”

Libya, the Minister Mahmoud Shammam later confirmed that Gaddafi had been killed after speaking personally with the militants who said they saw the body.

Gaddafi’s death – shortly after being captured by the rebel attackers – finally finished the last remnants of their prey 42 years in Libya.

But one of the sons of deposed leader Mo’tassim Gaddafi, was said to have been captured alive in Sirte by the forces of the National Transitional Council.

Al Arabiya TV later promised to convey Mo’tassim images after capture.

Many of Gaddafi’s inner circle have died in recent months, but the final figures remaining today seized power either live or killed in combat.
