Ga Navigator, Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN), a leading global satellite navigation, will demonstrate its platform in-dash navigation is an option available for an array of 2011 model year Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles. Nicknamed the UConnect button, the system will be available for demonstration at the booth of Garmin (South Hall # 35831) at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show.
Touch the UConnect extends the collaboration between Chrysler and Garmin, which first launched on the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The navigation system UConnect was developed in collaboration with Panasonic, which has leveraged its expertise and knowledge in the market for automotive suppliers to produce a center full of infotainment in the dashboard.

The collaborative effort brings the experience of consumers Garmin Nuvi-like original equipment, radio on the dashboard. The browser includes very detailed maps of U.S., Canada and Mexico with more than six million points of interest, and many advanced features in the latest Garmin portable devices, including:
• Simplified user interface – unlike many other systems in the dashboard competition, Garmin touch screen menus are easy to use and intuitive.
• Lane Assist – guides you to the track to approach a turn or exit, making intersections and exits easy to navigate unknown.
• Junction View – shows a realistic 3D road signs and junctions on your route along with arrows indicating the proper lane for navigation.
• Speed Limit & Current speed – to know at a glance if you’re in the posted speed limit.
• Where am I? – Get your latitude and longitude, the nearest address and intersection, and hospitals, police stations and gas stations.
• the names of streets – through the vehicle’s audio system, so you never have to take your eyes off the road.
• Trip Computer & Mileage Log – keep an eye on the mileage, whether in the fleet or holidays.
An icon that resembles the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep represents • Custom Icons vehicle – your position, or you’re driving.
