‘Fright Night’ Trailer

‘Fright Night’ Trailer, We’ve been waiting a while for the trailer of “Night of Fear”, remake of Craig Gillespie’s classic 1985 horror comedy. Well, it’s finally here, just in time for Friday 13! IGN scored an exclusive first trailer for “Fright Night”, emotion minute and a half years, heavy on action and horror, but not so much laughter. If this is the tongue in cheek comedy you’re looking for, this trailer shows that is barking up the wrong tree. But if it is deadly and dangerous vampire who is in need of, is like “Fright Night” has you covered.
In general, I like what’s on display here. I’m a big fan of Anton Yelchin, so put a bow in the hands of man and some clever phrases spewing from his mouth and I’m more or less sold immediately. Colin Farrell is great as Jerry Dandridge also bring some much-needed threat to the vampire next door. Farrell will need a meaty role to sink your teeth into for a while, so between this and “Heads Horrible” in July, I think their fans are in a few months of summer fun.
That said … it’s a little too dark and bold, right? Some levity would be nice, especially when you have people like Yelchin and Christopher Mintz-Plasse at your disposal. Also, where is David Tennant? Not even a single shot of the beloved “Doctor Who” icon and Pedro Vicente? Vamos!
I’m definitely intrigued, but laugh a little go a long way to engage an audience fully. But that’s just my reaction. What do you think? Are you in the trailer or not so? Let us know in the comments section and on Twitter!
