Freddie Mercury Birthday, Flamboyant Parsi Farrokh Bulsara British musician, best known by fans as the vocalist Freddie Mercury and Queen popular rock band, was remembered on his 65th birthday of Google with a scribble animation in the homepage.
The collage of 100 seconds, it says that the longer published by Google, has started a blog of Brian May, who was a songwriter from Queens with numbers like We Will Rock You that made the mercury one of the most popular artists ever.
“From time to time, invite us to publish on topics of interest and we are delighted to have Brian May with us to talk about friend and band mate of Freddie Mercury,” said Google, entering the Mercury blog, equally versatile piano, keyboard and guitar.
Born to Bomi and Jer Bulsara in the British protectorate of Zanzibar in Tanzania, now, Bulsara soon moved to Panchgani near Mumbai and spent his childhood there. He started taking piano lessons from seven and five years later formed a rock band of their own.
His family then moved to Feltham in Middlesex, England, and after graduation and some jobs, he joined a band called Ibex in 1969. A year later, along with May and drummer Roger Taylor, Queen was formed – and changed his surname to Mercury.
He was openly gay, but he hid his HIV status – is believed to have been diagnosed at some time in 1987 – by the public for at least two years. He died on November 24, 1991 at his home in Kensington, when he was 45 years, a few months after saying goodbye to the Queen.
