France School Shooting, A motorcycle gunman opened fire outside a Jewish school in the French city of Toulouse Monday morning, killing a rabbi, his two young sons and another child, authorities said.

The shooter had two weapons and aimed at “everything in sight” before making a quick getaway on a dark-colored scooter, according to reports.

The NYPD increased patrols in New York’s Jewish neighborhoods after learning of the attack.

“The NYPD’s countert*rror*sm posture is informed by events abroad,” NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said.

“Although there is no known specific threat against New York City, the NYPD has taken the precaution of stepping up coverage of Jewish neighborhoods and institutions in the city.”

The shocking killings took place as children were arriving at school.

The motive for the attack was not clear, but the horrific attack was France’s third motorcycle drive-by killing in a week. French President Nicolas Sarkozy vowed to find the person responsible for “the savagery.”

“This is a national tragedy,” Sarkozy said at the Ozar Hatorah school. “Everything will be done to find who is responsible and to make him pay for his crimes. Hatred must not win.”
