Floyd Mayweather

October 24, 2011 by staff

Floyd MayweatherFloyd Mayweather, There is probably no better way to get more miserable than a month several time boxing greats (we will later complain, but with an exception that has to go all the way back to July to find a main event on a card main was “unsatisfactory t) to look forward. It is a mouthwash solution, however, only cover up the smell. Not a good brushing.

Besides the people in the title, this edition of Round and Round we go to see the fights in the discussion of Antonio DeMarco, Dmitry Pirog, Amir Khan and others.

Round And Round

That was just a crazy rumor that Floyd Mayweather was in talks with middleweight champion Sergio Martinez for a fight, the team of Martinez. It should be – assuming Mayweather Martinez (although coming off a mediocre shows Martinez) would be the bold move of Mayweather’s career almost a decade, if not more. However, Devon Alexander, apparently, after flirting with the firm with the promoter of Mayweather, he is talking about wanting to fight Mayweather. And after all those calls to Devon Floyd kind of how big it was. Just kidding, not a problem – Devon should want to fight the best, so it’s a good thing, and is the No. 1 welterweight for no good reason why the WBC, where Floyd has the belt. And yet, in the news most likely opponent Mayweather junior welterweight Maidana has said he wants a piece of Floyd. On a scale of opponents willing to Mayweather, the list still reads Manny Pacquiao, Martinez, Khan … Maidana, with a distant fight desirable and nowhere near interesting until Alexander Alexander looks better than he has in recent fights.

Golden Boy Promotions wants to do a double-header rematch in early 2012, involving Maidana, and it would be extraordinary. Want Maidana-Erik Morales in a junior welterweight make-over of the fight his fight caliber Year earlier this year, and light weight make-over of the recent excellent DeMarco-Jorge Linares crash. Both Maidana and Morales have said it is willing, but both have also said before not only come to fruition. DeMarco promoter, Gary Shaw, has been remarkably silent on what he wants to do with DeMarco to the side, and part of my suspicion that it is excited about a rematch depending on how the first part of that struggle was. I hope I’m wrong.

Showtime has some money to spend before 2011 ends, apparently, so have booked a date December 31 and the promoters of many to sell their products. One could be a double bill with the light heavyweight Shumenov Beibut and Zsolt Erdei and junior featherweight Rico Ramos and Guillermo Rigondeaux. Another feature could Erdei against Tavoris Cloud on the contrary, Cornelius Bundrage and DeAndre Latimore middleweight duking it out on the billboard. Another might be brought against Daniel Geale medium Pirog (David Lemieux also offered the fight Pirog, but was rejected, and Lemieux and his acclaimed trainer Russ Anber, indeed, have been divided in their training habits, a condition of concern to the artist knockout comes from its first loss), the card could not play junior middleweight Serhiy Dzinziruk against someone. Of the three letters that absence information Dzinziruk you fight, the two best of the fight card Shumenov Rigondeaux-Ramos and Erdei (which incidentally would be “a struggle to end lawsuit against Shumenov Goossen-Tutor,” a good title fight for than any I’ve heard). But Pirog-Geale is by far the best main event, so if Dzinziruk can be scrounged up a good opponent, that’s my vote.

He is also interested in a fight with Shumenov is Nathan Cleverly, who is an ambitious young man – that is discussed a possible fight with Chad Dawson, Cloud and Bernard Hopkins. I like common sense.

Proving once again that the IBF is the best of a lot of bad organizations alphabet, which has ordered a rematch of the controversial fight between cruiserweight Yoan Pablo Hernandez and Steve Cunningham. Hernandez does not deserve to win as he won in a non-fatal cut that led to a technical decision, a rematch will give us all the opportunity for a real final.

At one point Khan a few days ago people thought that Pacquiao is kept separated from his friend and training partner, and the reason was his feeling that people think Pacquiao Pacquiao-Khan may be in sight. A couple of days later, he was sparring with his friend and said, “Never mind”. Khan is the kind of cat that had the same desire, which at that stage – again, like common sense that he would be willing to fight the best of the best, even if it is a friend.

The bad news about Tony Thompson, Eddie Chambers is out due to injury in the House on Friday, but the ShoBox card still has some things go well, and the heavyweight fight would be rescheduled for December 17 for the Super Six final card. Last I read was unlikely to be televised, which is sad – I know some people do not like the match-play, but I do. In other top-10 news-worthy heavyweight Robert Helenius could face Alexander Dimitrenko December 3 or later, depending on whether there is a purse bid. I like to struggle a bit, too. And in sub-top-10 heavyweight news, Oliver McCall and Mariusz Wach is ready to take on November 5. I do not mind fighting as much – the winner is a legit rival for a top-10, although both are chasing an impossible dream in the pursuit of a Klitschko brother. Finally, news heavyweight, Alexander Povetkin has settled where old heavyweights want to fight the upcoming December 3, with Evander Holyfield and Hasim Rahman overlooked in favor of Cedric Boswell, undoubtedly the best of some bad choices. And I’m not complaining – Povetkin is entitled to a minor fight that left the biggest win of his career, more than Ruslan Chagaev.

The hunt for the few customers opponent, Al Haymon, to appear in HBO heavyweight Seth Mitchell, featherweight Gary Russell Jr., and junior lightweight Adrien Broner has gone very wrong. Mitchell finished with Timur Ibragimov by all accounts December 10, a good fight (again) for the development of Mitchell, but not really worthy of an HBO. Russell has gone from a possible attack with Luis Franco – you could get behind – a possible combat with Teon Kennedy, coming off a loss. Nothing against Kennedy, but not ideal comes from that loss, I do not hold too many losses to people, but the coolness of it and the effort not swell widely criticized an opponent HBO. Broner and could end with Vicente Rodriguez, fully tested South American fighter would get a title shot entirely undeserved. Broner Russell and reserve for 26 November.

December 10 has some other things going for it, including Roy Jones once again foolishly return to the ring against the cruise Max Alexander, who has not won a fight since 2007, aggravating the ugly. Super middleweight Adonis Stevenson – still recovering from a shocking knockout loss Darnell Boone – are taking, probably the best opponent of his career that night: Aaron Pryor Jr.

Anthony Mundine think you are being boycotted in the United States for his controversial statements about the 9 / 11, but the junior middleweight has never given anyone here more than a reason to worry about him, and every time he has spoken about the fight in the United States, which has often thrown back and take some gil in Australia. Still not totally opposed to an ESPN2 fight ShoBox or style between him and Austin Trout. It is the right match-up for men who have something to prove.

Jhonny Gonzalez seems pen is constantly being scheduled to fight Roinet Knight, but instead of December 3.

Least favorite TQBR Ruslan Provodnikov and DeMarcus Corley down in the face of 05 December. Corley in a bad stretch to say the least – I wish I had gone to retire. However, the fight makes sense to keep busy Provodnikov respectable names while waiting for things to come.

Ivan Calderon back in November strawweight against Raul Garcia Garcia lost half of the return, so Omar Soto could intervene in his place. Meh.

There is a cruising perspective called Brad Pitt, Australia, and at least one account says it’s pretty good. He could be the fight against Victor Oganov, the once-fearsome knockout artist, who was not much, apart from a big blow, but it’s still a step forward for Pitt. It’s a struggle to compete with its namesake battle pitting action against Tyler Durden Tyler Durden.
