Florida Governor Race 2010, The 2010 Florida Governor race has been close since the end of the primaries. Polls showed Rick Scott and Alex Sink is running neck and neck the whole way. There was no reason to expect a different day of the 2010 election.

The race ended up being even closer than the polls had shown. With 89% of precincts reporting, Republican Rick Scott, a Democrat Alex Sink, a percentage point to just 1. Scott had 2,553,434 votes, while the sink was 2,500,510 as of 10:30 AM this morning. The exit polls did not show any of the candidates is also highly favored. The only thing that could be noted that 52% of independent voters supported Rick Scott, while only 42% supported Alex Sink.

Rick Scott has been declared the winner of the 2010 race for Florida governor. Although 100% of the election results had not yet been counted, Alex Sink, awarded to Scott.

Rep. Scott will take over current incumbent Gov. Charlie Crist, who lost the Florida Senate election to Republican Marco Rubio.
