Flo Rida's ArrestFlo Rida’s Arrest, South Florida rapper Flo Rida has been arrested in Miami Beach for allegedly driving under the influence. Miami police confirmed that the singer, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, was charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license, reports CBS station WFOR. According to the arrest report, an officer in Miami Beach 2008 Bugatti saw being driven erratically. The official said it took two blocks before he could get the driver to stop.

The Dillard official described as having red, watery eyes, slurred speech and odor of alcohol on his breath when the rapper got out. During a road sobriety test, according to reports, Dillard said “officer, I can do this”, “I feel I can not walk straight,” I’ve had a few drinks “and” I live in the other side of the bridge, I can get home. “While Dillard was being tested, a crowd gathered, some calling for police Dillard let go, others offering to give him a home. Police said Dillard failed the sobriety test and measure a .185 on a Breathalyzer test, more than twice the legal limit WFOR reports.

Dillard was born on 187th Street Carol City projects. The song “Low” from their 2008 debut album “Mail on Sunday” was No. 1 on U.S. charts for 10 weeks. “Low” won the People’s Choice Award for “Best Hip Hop Song” in 2009.
In his next album “R.O.O.T.S.” a year later, the song “around” remained on Billboard’s Hot 100 for six weeks. In 2010, “R.O.O.T.S.” was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. ” That same year, Dillard was nominated for People’s Choice Award for “Hip Hop Artist of the Year.”
