Five Guys, A highly anticipated new Five Guys Burgers and location Popes come to Greece in the fall.
The location of Greece will be the fourth restaurant across the Rochester area, in addition to those already in Webster, Pittsford and Henrietta.
Co-owner Reid, Richardson said the other three places are doing “very well” and that Greece expects the location to be its best.
“We are very pleased with Greece, actually I think it may be our best store,” said Richardson.
And when it comes to advertising and promotion of the new company, Richardson said they are keeping to the strategy we have always maintained – by word of mouth.
“Do not try to be everything to everyone. It is just all word of mouth, and so far has been very successful for us.”
Manager of the Webster location, Keli Chesebro, said she has been receiving “at least 20 calls a day” from people asking when the new location will be opening in Greece.
“It will be fantastic and very busy,” Chesebro said, it will be a training manager at the new location.
“It’s a great company in Rochester and hopefully in the coming years we will be all over the place.”
The expansion plans beyond Greece are in the works, too.
Once the restaurant Greece is under way, Richardson said he hopes he and his partner will travel to Buffalo, the construction of three or four places.
The menu is simple, but unique.
“At five guys we have a limited menu is basically burgers, hot dogs and fries, but we think we do better than anyone,” said Richardson.
“I think it is food that makes them want it there,” Chesebro said. “There is nothing like it.”
