Final Copa De Oro 2011, It’s the U.S. vs. Mexico, vs. Juan Agudelo Rafael M? Marquez for a place in the Confederations Cup 2013. For those of you who are fans of the Red Bulls, who have been tracking the Gold Cup, the U.S. scraping through the Group C after losing their first game of the group stage each time in Panama, while Mexico demolished the rest of Group A, scoring 14 goals and only fit one in three games.
In the second round, the U.S. Jamaica and Panama downed 2-0 and 1-0, respectively, but played quite well in both games. Mexico came from behind to beat Guatemala 2-1 and then takes longer to get Honduras last Wednesday, 2-0. The latter is the third consecutive Gold Cup Final between Mexico and the U.S., with the two parties split the last two. Mexico has the general advantage and win the Gold Cup final in the United States, with eight tournament victories and a 3-1 record against the Americans in the jewel of tournament play.
