Fathers Day 201:Father’s Day is celebrated annually on the third Sunday in June. It is a day to honor their parents and 52 major countries around the world celebrate the day in June and is celebrated on other days. This day was first celebrated in the time of the early twentieth century and the purpose of the celebration was to highlight the importance of a father in the life of a child. People celebrate the day and honor the loving and caring parents who play an important role in their lives.
According to research Father’s Day was celebrated with the efforts of Sonora Dodd. Ms. Dodd. He stressed the importance of Father’s Day and June 19, 1910 organized a tribute to her father and she paid tribute to his father with a red rose. He had roses when she went to church and the red was for parents who live and white were for a dead one. It was a unique and beautiful way to honor parents. Not only that, she also traveled throughout the city with the use of these roses to highlight the importance of the day and made to celebrate the day with her.
In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson once again raised the issue and wanted to do a day’s holiday. National Father’s Day Committee was established in 1930 in New York by man Use Associated retailers. Now days people from the father to his parents by giving them cards and gifts and is a day to salute all those parents who protect and guide children through thick and thin and give them affection and love.
