Facebook & Breakup Lawsuit
July 14, 2011 by staff
Cheryl Gray Wylie Iwan is suing the state of Washington and 8368.88 after making a Facebook romance that ended with him sending messages about their bitter social network.
Iwan did not break up with her until after she had sent gifts and book a flight to Washington. Apparently the cost of flight 900, but the rest of the money is to defame her in the social network.
The charges will bring are: “misrepresentation, promissory estoppel, defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.”
Although it seems double-edged sword – Iwan said he rejected the gray started a hate group on Facebook about it and called it an online predator, but said he had always been upfront about finding a new relationship.
“I want this woman to go ahead and leave me alone,” said Iwan, who had to find a lawyer to represent Michigan. “It’s a totally frivolous trial.”
Judge is likely to turn the case down, but if the court does, I have a blacklist of people I’m suing for emotional distress cause on Facebook.
Although perhaps the real moral of this story is – do not spend money on people who are in Mafia Wars.
