Euthanized Dog Back To Life

Euthanized Dog Back To Life, On December 3 the McKinlay family of Yelm, WA was devastated when their family dog, Scamp, escaped through a fence, ran into the road, and was hit by a car.

Reta and Paul McKinlay were sure the dog had been killed in the collision.

“Scamp was bleeding; his eyes were fixed. We didn’t feel breath on his chest or on his nose,” Reta McKinlay said in an interview with The Olympian.

After breaking the news to their twin 6-year old-grandchildren, Paul took Scamp outside, wrapped him in a blanket and placed him under a wheelbarrow so he could be bury him the following day, the Associated Press reported.

But when Paul returned in the morning to bury the dog, Scamp, despite his injuries, was sitting upright, appearing to have come back to life.

While it’s more likely that Scamp simply recovered consciousness, the McKinlay family insists that this nothing short of a Christmas miracle.

Despite racking up a total of $3,000 in veterinarian bills, the entire family was ecstatic to see their pet alive.
