Essential Obama Cameron, The U.S. president, Barack Obama, has come to London to meet Prime Minister, David Cameron, and a series of royal visits. Obama came to Britain a day earlier than planned on Monday to avoid any disruption of the volcanic ash cloud from a volcano in Iceland.
He flew into Stansted with his wife, Michelle, after leaving the Republic of Ireland, where his one-week tour of Europe began. The couple received a ceremonial welcome and should be visited Westminster Abbey and Downing Street. Obama will meet with Mr. Cameron for talks that will likely focus on Libya and Middle East. He was scheduled to meet yesterday the Queen and Prince William and his wife Catherine. Obama was not invited to the wedding the couple is that William is the heir to the throne – which is second in line of his father, Prince Charles – and the meeting will be the first opportunity to congratulate President prince person.
In a joint article in a newspaper of London, Mr Obama and Mr Cameron said the relationship between his country:’’ours is not only a special relationship, a relationship is essential – for the world and us.
”When the United States and Britain are together, our people and people around the world can be safer and more prosperous. The reason is flourishing because advances our common interests and shared values. This is a perfect alignment of what they need and what they both believe.”
