Esperanza Spalding, Beware the wrath of a fan of Justin Bieber despised. After the phenomenon of 16 years – and, indeed, Drake, Florence and the Machine and Mumford & Sons – lost the award for best new artist at Esperanza Spalding at the Grammys on Sunday, the little known jazz singer was a target the Beliebers.

Spalding Wikipedia page was attacked after her Grammy as facts at random; inaccuracies and taunts have been added to the site and then quickly withdrawn. After winning a sentence noting, for example, a user adds the statement, “Justin Bieber deserved to die in a hole. Who the hell are you? ”

In other places, the singer’s first name was changed both “Justin” and “Quesadilla” and winning the Grammy Awards was written with the additive, “Even if nobody ever heard of her! Yay! “At the end of her biography, a user wrote,” Biber 4 Lyfe. ” – [MTV]
(CP) – Esperanza Spalding has performed for President Barack Obama, with jazz legends like Herbie Hancck – even before thousands of fans eager Prince.

But the famous jazz singer and bassist were pushed onto the biggest stage of her life Sunday as she won the trophy for best new artist Grammy, making history in the process. The native 26-year-old Portland, Oregon, became the jazz artist to win the award in a stunner that saw her defeat Mumford & Sons, Florence and the Machine, rapper Drake, and the overwhelming favorite, teen pop Justin Bieber phenomenon.

“I feel really lucky that I learned to be recognized on the scene in front of so many people who will hopefully get to experience my music and I got to doing what is really dear to my heart, “Spalding said backstage after her win.

You could say Bieber Spalding is the jazz world: a feeling of youth, which was a bestseller in the genre, and with amazing hair, usually worn in a huge Afro. His talents are profound: it is also a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and arranger, was the youngest professor at the renowned Berklee College of Music, Prince and figures as one of her musical mentors – not to mention that the White House concert.

His last album “Chamber Music Society,” blended her classical training with her jazz material. She had hoped for a nomination in the categories of jazz and was surprised to be named best new artist instead.

Things were still surreal for her after her big win: “It’s weird that I’m already there, sitting in front of you,” she told reporters backstage.

Spalding said her win at the Grammy Awards was just the beginning of what she hoped to be a rich, long career in jazz.

“In the world I come from, it’s the beginning of the beginning. I’m 26 … people (the Jazz) were older than me, and they are still growing, “she said.

What may be another thing in common with Bieber, who she hung out backstage after her win?

“He has great hair, and I have great hair!” she joked.
