Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon

Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon, Rebecca Carroll, Alcatraz has always been considered a fascinating piece of history. She grew up in Southern California and made many trips to the island with family and friends through the years.
Carroll, a relative newcomer to triathlon, athletes will be one of the areas of?? 23 multi-sports competing in Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in San Francisco Sunday.
“I always thought it would be great to swim that way,” said Carroll, 28, of Dallas, who swam and played water polo in high school and college. “I knew it would be good in the swim away.”
She says the bike and run will be harder for her on Sunday.
“Since I’m new to the sport, I have a lot of tris under my belt,” he said. “I just want to finish and have as much fun as possible, even if they finish last.”
