Erykah Badu A Midwife?Erykah Badu A Midwife?, Singer Erykah Badu plans to base her career not only in the soul hits record. The “Tyrone” singer recently performed at the rap festival Rock the Bells, but has identified something other than music as her “vocation.”

Badu says that while assisting with the birth of a friend in 2001, realized how right to be a doula or a midwife for her.

Badu describes her experience in a recent interview, saying that although she always had a maternal instinct, midwifery was not always in their plans:

“I always had a maternal nature. But I had no intention of becoming a doula. I just wanted to take care of my family and friends.

“When I saw the baby crying. I knew I had to do with my life.”

The singer, who is a spokesman for the International Center for Traditional maternity says its customers called “Erykah Badoula,” indicating that you are thinking of getting certified midwife so you can open “maternity homes” so that women have a better opportunity to experience childbirth without anesthesia. Badu is a mother of three children, son of seven, 13, with rapper Andre 3000, Puma’s daughter, 7, and daughter of Mars, 2.

Badu sparked a degree of controversy last year with the launch of the video for their song “Window Seat”, which is nak*d without the permission and to the surprise of passers-by near the site of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas. In her Twitter (@ fatbellybelly) at the time, Badu describes the shooting:

“… He was shot guerrilla-style, without crew, a drink, do not set closed without notice, 2 min., Downtown Dallas, and then ran like hell”

He later denied the rumors of a fourth pregnancy after the video was shot, saying he was “not pregnant, just fat.” Badu paid a bill of 500 and after the incident.
