Empire State Building Rainbow
June 25, 2011 by USA Post
Empire State Building Rainbow, It’s a historic night in New York, where he eventually passed the same-sex marriages by a vote of 33 to 29 of the Senate. And look! Even the Empire State Building is happy with the news all wrapped up in a blaze of rainbow colors.
Well, well, this exciting victory for the gay rights movement is not the real reason is a light historical construction. He dressed and in rainbow lights in the preparation of Pride of New York this weekend. Anyway, everything went wonderfully. Celebrations of the city makes on behalf of marriage equality extra party tonight.
For gay people and families in New York, this is a day of joy and vindication. Finally, gay and lsbn couples can marry (and, in about 30 days in all the paperwork out of the way is annoying), and has been a long time. This vote marks a major step towards equal rights in the United States (hoping soon my home state of California finally make this happen – again) and I can only hope that when my children are old enough to understand this, you will look back on today and move my head because I can not believe it took us old timey freaky deaky people so damn crazy ridiculous long to finally end things right.
