Emerson Elementary School Riverside Ca

Emerson Elementary School Riverside Ca, A h*rdc*re ex-p*rn star reading to first graders isn’t the best idea, but apparently Entourage is just fine. By now you may have seen the parental rage/complaints over officials at the Emerson Elementary School booking Sasha Grey, an ex-p*rn star, to read to their children. And you might have heard her defense, “I am an actor. I am an artist. I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am a partner. I have a past that some people may not agree with, but it does not define who I am. I will not live in fear of it,” said Grey in a statement. But it’s the explanation of how Grey was booked which puzzles the moral compass. The LA Times notes:
“The outside talent coordinator listed the actress as a mainstream actress from the HBO show Entourage, ” said the statement, which refrained from mentioning Gray [sic] by her name. “Although we have worked with this talent coordinator for several years, we will meet to review the participant selection process.”
Props to Grey’s agent for doing a great job at selling Grey’s current projects. And granted, the Emerson Elementary team gets a pass for maybe not knowing about Grey’s past or that she’s playing a fictional version of herself on the show (not everyone has HBO). And we’ll even give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to trusting “mainstream actress.” But shouldn’t Entourage be enough of a red flag? Taking Grey out of the equation all together, exactly how are the dude-bro hanging, Ari Gold-cussing, groupie-loving escapades in any regular (sans-Sasha) Entourage episode any more appropriate for first graders?
