Elton John & George MichaelElton John & George Michael, Sorry, there is the hardest word: Disputes heavyweights singing Elton John and George Michael have completed seven years of estrangement, according to British newspaper The Sun.

The story goes that the boys fell for seven years after Elton made some comments not-so-star George – said the former Wham! Star was troubled, and “in a strange place.”

Elton said George seemed to have a “rooted unhappiness in his life,” and felt that his patience album was “disappointing.”

George replied: “Elton John knows very little about George Michael, and that’s a fact. Most of what Elton knows my life is limited to the rumors you hear on the grapevine gay.

“He [Elton] will not be happy until they knock on your door in the middle of the night saying,” Please, please, help me, Elton. Take me to rehab. “It will not happen…. Elton simply shut up and get on with their lives.”

Ooh-er!  But wait, while your friend may have crashed and burned a few years, the boys are now said to be besties again.

According to The Sun, the couple have ended their feud and joined for a duet on the Elton’s AIDS fundraising and Tiara Ball White Tie last week.

The boys performed a version of Do not let the sun go Down On Me, which was received with warm applause.

A guest said: “Everyone went crazy – it was a special moment.”

It also emerged that George will perform a benefit concert in London this November, to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

A friend tells the Daily Mail: “They’ve been seeing a lot. The fight is over. George and Elton are becoming more brightly and everybody is happy.”
