Ellen Degeneres Show, On Thursday’s broadcast of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” First Lady Michelle Obama won an exercise contest against the comedian, easily pumping out 25 push-ups with ease.

Obama visited the daytime talk show to promote her campaign against childhood obesity. It didn’t take long for DeGeneres to issue the challenge and even quicker for the first lady to accept.

“How many push-ups can you do?” the comedian asked asked.

“I don’t know,” Obama responded. “I can do some. Can you?”

“I can do some. I was just wondering if you could do more push-ups than I can do.”

After joking about the comedian’s back problems, Obama agreed to the contest and, to the backdrop of the audience’s cheering, the two took off their jackets, dropped to the floor and started their exercise.

DeGeneres made it just past the 15 mark, while Obama continued to 25. “I just stopped,” the first lady said, indicating she could do more.
