Elion, After many minutes spent trying to understand what the problem might be, a press release from Swedbank and a phone call from the ISP Elion clarified the issue: the network has declined.

Staring from 10:45 today, Elion customers lost their connections with the Internet – as reported immediately by the credit institution – some 50 Swedbank ATMs, like many people have had the chance to do throughout the morning.

Although the problem seems to be resolved and the two cash machines and computers are already gradually revert to their normal use, it has been impossible to get an accurate reading of one of two companies involved, since both their customer support and contacts with the press are busy, we suppose – facing an enormous amount of phone calls from their customers.

We will revisit this issue during the day, once or Swedbank Elion gives us new clarity on what happened to the network Elion and the reasons for the crash.
