Earthquake Long Island

Earthquake Long Island, Residents of Long Island were hit Tuesday morning after an earthquake sent tremors in parts of Suffolk and the East End.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake magnitude 3.9 was felt in the communities in Riverhead and east to Cold Spring Harbor around 10:45 the epicenter was 79 miles south of Southampton at a depth of 4.1 miles, an official with the USGS.

A wave of terror of earthquake has been created and some residents described the tremors as a shy hum. There are no injuries or damage was immediately reported.
