Earthquake In Los Angeles, Magnitude 3.3 earthquakes shook Los Angeles early today, but there were no immediate reports of damage, officials said. The earthquake, about 13 miles south of Los Angeles Civic Center, occurred at 12:36 am, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department reported no fire-related calls or damage caused by the earthquake, as office supervisor Robert Diaz.
The city fire department completed an assessment of damage in the metropolitan Los Angeles shortly after 2 am and found that there were no injuries or damage reported by the quake, said LAFD spokesman Matt Spence.
