Earth Day Activities

Earth Day Activities:Today we celebrate Earth Day 2010, along with the rest of the world. Earth Day is an annual event to increase our awareness to care for our planet Earth through conservation and reforestation. During Earth Day 2010, many are wondering what are some of the activities they can do to celebrate Earth Day? If you’re one of those that call the Earth Day activities, here are some suggestions I have for you:
1. Plant trees. If you are an adult, why not try to plant trees in their park. Planting trees can be kept permanently on Earth by protecting against disasters such as floods, caused by climatic conditions. Alternatively, you can try to beautify your garden this Earth Day by having more plants and flowers.
2. Earth Day Wordsearch. When you have a family reunion this Earth Day, why not have a family bonding by having an Earth word game day search through your loved ones? They probably will enjoy it. Make sure you have a timer and that is all words wins. Since today is Earth Day, there should be words that are related to Earth Day “green,” “maintain,” “reuse”, “recycle”, “solar”, “biodegradable”, “land” etc.
3. Earth Day coloring pages for kids. For children, you should buy Earth Day coloring. Surely you will love coloring pictures of Earth Day and will appreciate the beauty of the Earth and Mother Nature. Look for books for Earth Day coloring pages with references to the sunset beach, land and mother nature in general.
We love the Earth. We all need to survive on this planet. Start contributing their own part by doing their own activities of Earth Day.
