Admission is 5 and Friday and Saturday and 3. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased at the box office of the Savannah Civic Center or online at www.jrleaguesavannah.org. Children under 2 are free. No strollers or carts are allowed.
Items sold on Saturday are half price. All sales are in cash. Parking is free.
Resale merchandise is donated by league members and supporters and varies each year. Articles may include appliances, electronics, clothing and toys for children, home and holiday decor, books, accessories, housewares, clothing and furniture among others.
Again this year the sale will offer new in the box of goods and high quality items such as glass, porcelain, jewelry and designer items in the Boutique JL.
The money from the sale is used to finance various projects in the league. League’s current focus is women and the protection of children.

SCAD way to invade Manhattan
The University of the Savannah Art and Design will be Manhattan’s Night Fashion departure on September 10 with events in the East Side of Dylan’s Candy Bar, at Lord West Side & Taylor and center in the debut New York gallery and a retail boutique.
SCAD also will also be held Fashion Night out in different places in Atlanta.
“The fashion community will have the opportunity to see what we already know: that the SCAD fashion students is the complete package, experts in all aspects of the profession,” says Michael Fink, senior fashion school.
Overnight Fashion output, SCAD and Dylan’s Candy Bar presents “Couture Candy” in Dylan’s flagship store on Third Avenue in New York.
Six school students SCAD Fashion and Design have created a couture collection of dresses made of candy from Dylan’s Candy Bar. Each student has created a unique team of its kind to be displayed in front windows of Dylan and the rest of the store until 31 October.
Lord & Taylor will host five SCAD students to create fashion illustrations for customers in the store on Fifth Avenue 424. September 10 6 pm-11 pm
Customers will be invited to model for students, which will create drawings in the unique style of fashion illustrators. The drawings will be given to customers.
SCAD has also been associated with New York gallery debut retail and boutique in the “Faces of Fashion” collection, limited edition T-shirt with the front row of fashion’s most famous faces hand painted and signed by the artist Victor Juan Villanueva. A percentage of sales of these shirts will go to SCAD.
Debut in New York, located at 298 Mulberry St., will release the series on 10 September.
