Dying Mom Attends Daughter's Wedding VirtuallyDying Mom Attends Daughter’s Wedding Virtually, A terminally ill mother fulfilled her last wish and got a front row seat at the wedding of her daughter – even though he was too ill to leave her hospice.

Patty Davisson, 54, died just 18 days after she saw her daughter, Ashley, 26, walking down the aisle and says, “I do” with her high school sweetheart, Beau Broering, thanks to a connection laptop and Skype.

“She had a laptop in her hospital room and she looked her best friend from high school,” said the new Mrs. Broering The Post.

“It was really wonderful. I was worried that she would not be there or see it. She had become so ill just days before the wedding.

“It was an emotional day. I was walking down the hallway and I had a bit of a breakdown because I was not there. Then I saw the computer screen. We waved to each other and then everything was fine.

“She was so happy. She could not stop smiling that night,” said the new bride.

Shortly after witnessing the wedding May 06, Davisson died of cancer at Hospice Center in Cincinnati Drake.

Friend and photographer Andrea Boettcher said the mother virtually attends “was beautiful and emotional.”

“After the ceremony, which sets the laptop in the lobby and people stopped to chat and talk to her. He came to witness everything. It was amazing and sad at the same time,” Boettcher said.
