'DWTS' Pro's Injury‘DWTS’ Pro’s Injury, Kym Johnson’s publicist sent an update on the condition of Johnson. “Kym Johnson was admitted to the hospital today just after falling and injuring herneck during practice,” said the spokesman.

“After several tests, which was authorized by the medical staff, although it is bruised, sore and now wears a brace. Kym plans to continue to Hines Ward in the contest and resume testing as soon as possible.”

Meanwhile, Johnson Twitter on Friday after herhospital stay for fans to know he was okay.

“Thank you all for your concern, love and support. I am a bit shaken, sore throat, but I’ll be fine,” he wrote shortly after 6 pm PT. “I want to give special thanks to everyone in the Cedar Sinai. Doctors, nurses and staff were so amazing.”

“Dancing With The Stars” professional dancer Kym Johnson was rushed to hospital on Friday after he suffered an injury during a rehearsal on the set of the series, confirmed.

Johnson, who is paired with Hines Ward NFL star for the season of 12, was sent to hospital for precautionary reasons, according to her publicist.

“Kym was injured during the trials of today,” Johnson said publicist. “She was taken to hospital for precautionary measures to ensure that right.”

The Fire Department of Los Angeles responded to a call at 11:13 am Pacific Time and in a video posted on Entertainment Tonight, Johnson can see that you put in an ambulance on a stretcher with a neck brace.

Ward and Johnson are one of the best couples in the reality show, regularly landing in the top spot for most of the season 12. The two are in the semifinals.

Injuries are not new to the “Dancing With The Stars” stage. Last week, Ralph Macchio suffered a ruptured cyst on the knee. In the last professional dancers have been replaced when you cannot do with their star. In 2009, during Season 9, both Derek Hough and Lacey Schwimmer could not compete due to illness and Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Anna Trebunskaya came to dance for the week with their partners Joanna Krupa and Mark Dacascos.

In 2008, during Season 7, Julianne Hough was hospitalized with appendicitis and Edyta Sliwinska stepped in to take their place and dance with Cody Linley.

“We probably need to get a little more daring,” said Johnson May 10 after “Dancing With The Stars: Results show,” when asked if she was considered a daring person.

He also revealed that she and Ward were set to dance the Argentine tango and salsa, plus a competitive group Cha Cha.

“I have some interesting things on the sleeves and I will not disappoint. I will try not to anyway,” she said.

Ward added: “I know I will always push. If that’s what it takes for her to take us on the top, then so be it. My job is to not only let down and I have only her choreography to go out and run and want the best. ”

“Pressure is a kind of way here [pointing herhand on herhead], but it’s good,” Johnson said at a time. “We’re ready.”
