Dussehra Festival, Dussehra marks the tenth day of the Hindu lunar month of Ashvin or Ashwayuja autumn falls in September or October of the calendar, the Pratipada Shukla Paksha or the day after the new moon entering Bhadrapada to the Dashami or the tenth day of Ashvin.
