Durango Herald, The Durango Herald published an editorial yesterday urging Republicans to withhold their vote for a week or so to see if Scott McInnis does a better job of explaining the plagiarism scandal.
The editorial begins by saying that race “should have been an easy decision for Republicans of Colorado,” and then goes on to talk about McInnis’ accomplishments as a state legislator and member of the U.S. House.
But McInnis hits for your answer to the situation and urges voters to give McInnis the opportunity to explain better.
GOP voters should hold its vote for a week or so until the vote. If McInnis then not reaching a better explanation for the plagiarism, they should leave the race for governor unchecked.
Voting for McInnis opponent, Dan Maes, is not an acceptable alternative. Maes has no political experience and support schemes, such as overturning voter-approved taxes and water delivery western slopes of the Cordillera Frontal.
If not properly explained McInnis – and soon – the GOP will have another candidate.
