unno Y, History: The film depicts the relationship between two young men who fall in love, but can not find an atmosphere conducive to free expression. On the one hand, there is family pressure and the other is the social satire that forces this gay couple to stay in the closet and hope for a new liberal world order.
Movie Review: The film has had its fair share of problems, both with the Censor Board and then the moral police, self-appointed that has threatened dire consequences principal actors to portray a hmosxl relationship. Of course not speak ill of our prudish society ….
And I do not know the answer is definitely not India’s “Brokeback Mountain”, even though the filmmakers have tried to be brave and adventurous, while portraying the passion between the characters: a sleaze club dancer and a quiet man bearings married middle class (read moral). But the advantages of cinema to more veteran women – Helen and Zeenat Aman – that are fresh and vibrant as the cantankerous jodi Saas-Bahu. If Zeenat still looks glamorous as the single mother trying to support his family after being abandoned by her husband, Kabir Bedi, then Helen oozes charm as the acerbic mother-in-law who breathes poison, however, highlights by his daughter-in-law in times of stress. Among them, the actors create moments experienced enough to make the film reveals in some places.
There is a degree of sensitivity while the fight against gay relationship, yet the drama lacks punch and the conclusion becomes self-defeating. Could undoubtedly have been a bold climax if the film wanted to lift the taboo on this link.
