Duggar And Overpopulation

Duggar And Overpopulation, All those stories we’ve been hearing about overpopulation are lies, according to Michelle Duggar, and we can fit the entire world’s population in the city of Jacksonville, Fla. Duggar, star of reality show “19 Kids and Counting,” used this statement to defend her brood during a web interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network. The mother of 19 had been asked what environmental impact she thought her family had on the world.

“Well first off, the idea of overpopulation is not accurate because, really, the entire population of the world, if they stood shoulder to shoulder could fit inside the city limits of Jacksonville,” she said. “So if you realize that aspect of it you realize that we’re not anywhere near being overpopulated.”

Duggar said that her family buys from second-hand stores and drives used cars to offset their impact.

“I agree with Mother Teresa when she said, ‘to say that there are too many children is like saying there are too many flowers,’” Duggar went on to say. She also added that other countries have come to America for help because their death rates are higher than their birth rates.

On Tuesday’s finale of “19 Kids and Counting” viewers watch Michelle and husband Jim Bob get the news that their 20th baby was a miscarriage.
