Drunken Scooter Ride

Drunken Scooter Ride, (AP) – An Indiana man has received a prison sentence of five years to ride his motorcycle while intoxicated. The office of the Johnson County prosecutor said Kevin Jennings, of Greenwood, was sentenced Thursday as a habitual offender due to previous methamphetamine convictions for drunk driving.

The office, said Jennings was arrested Oct. 23 after a 911 call reported being hit by a bottle of beer. It said police found Franklin Jennings ride the bike with his wife, Lou, as a passenger.

Police arrested Lou Jennings on a battery charge and her husband in a drunk driving charge.

His blood alcohol level was 0.21 percent, 2 ½ times the level of intoxication in Indiana. The prosecution failed to provide the name of a lawyer, and the couple has no phone number listed.
