Dougherty SiblingsDougherty Siblings, The fugitive brothers Dougherty, the run for a week, have an arsenal of high-powered weapons and the recently released video shows the brothers know how to use them, police said.

Ryan Dougherty, 21, Lee’s sister, Grace E. Dougherty, 29, and Dylan Dougherty half brother Stanley, 26, has been run since August 02 when he allegedly shot a police officer in Florida trying to get more of their white Subaru Impreza speeding. A few hours later, allegedly robbed a bank in Georgia.

“We know that Ryan bought several years ago an AK-47 in a pawnshop,” said Pasco County (Florida) Sheriff Chris Nocco. “We know that his brother Dylan also purchased several high caliber rifles and pistols. … Relatives that have a large arsenal also informed us and when they searched the house, there were no weapons or ammunition to the left and we know that led to them. ”

Nocco said that the brothers could be anywhere.

“We want to reiterate to the Dougherty family, we want you, in turn, we want a peaceful solution, but at the same time, we understand that if they want to fight with us, and we have the resources to win,” Nocco said.

The Sheriff’s Office Pasco County on Monday posted on the board video camera high-speed chase that started the nationwide manhunt to find the brothers called the Gang of Dougherty.

The chase began on the same day that Ryan Dougherty had allegedly cut off his court-ordered monitoring device of the ankle. He had been forced to register as a sex offender for sending explicit text messages to a girl 11 years old.

The video shows the white Doughertys’ Subaru zoom by the Zephyrhills, Florida, and police car. The police officer can be heard saying: “The speeds over 100 mph at this time.”

The brothers reportedly set their sights on the car. The officer says, “Fired several shots at me.”

Nocco said Doughertys were not only trying to turn the car off the police who were trying to kill the officer.

“They stop several times in what I believe was an ambush. They wanted that officer to come very close to them. They were using high-caliber rifle rounds and as you can hear in the video, many of them were popping out,” Nocco he said.

Luckily, the officer was uninjured. The chase ended when one of the 20 shots officers gave the car a flat tire.

A few hours later, the brothers allegedly robbed a bank in Valdosta, Georgia, a masked woman, who seems to be Grace Lee Dougherty is supposedly holding an Uzi submachine gun.

“She had her finger on the trigger. We know they are trained in this type of weapons that are not afraid to use them and are extremely dangerous,” said Nocco.

A week after the prosecution of violent criminals, spottings have been reported throughout the Southeast, including one in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a digital billboard campaign is also being used by the police.

“They are not afraid of no shooting and that is all I want to make sure the public understands that there are three violent people,” said Nocco.

Anyone who sees or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call the FBI (404) 679-9000 or the Valdosta Police Department (229) 293-3145. Remain anonymous, call (229) 293-3091.
