Doug, If you’ve used Facebook this week, there’s a good chance you’ve noticed that photos of your friends have been replaced by characters from popular cartoons. No, your best friend has not suddenly developed a striking resemblance Strawberry Shortcake – but it supports a good cause.
Facebook users were encouraged to replace their current image profile with that of their favorite heroes. Why? To promote awareness on violence against children.
“Change your Facebook profile picture to a cartoon character from your childhood and invite your friends to do likewise. Until Monday, December 6, should not human faces on Facebook, but an invasion of memories! It is a campaign against violence on children “, a position to promote bed.
World Bobby, Doug, Recess, Strawberry Shortcake, Rugrats and Muppet Babies had arisen on the site as popular choices.
Other classics – and some of my favorite person Shera Princess of Power, He-Man, GEM and the Holograms, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Animaniacs and The Smurfs.
