Donald Sutherland, (UKPA) – Donald Sutherland is very proud of the cascade in a wheelchair he conducted himself in new action film The Mechanic. The actor plays Harry 75 years, the mentor’s professional assassin Arthur, played by Jason Statham in the new action movie, and although his character is in a wheelchair, he came with his own idea about how it should be out in a scene.

Donald revealed: “I made wheelchair before but this was the first time I ever had to descend a staircase.

“And when we got to this point the director and stunt coordinator said:” What you do is you take the wheelchair down the stairs, and then you slip on the stairs.

“And I said I do not think that’s true, I do not think anyone with half a brain would do that, not to offend you.”

“I said I’d try something, because there were two bars down the handrails. So I turned around and I rolled down. And I was delighted, because it was my idea and I did it and you can see, I’m doing and it was hard work and I had a wonderful time. ”

The film, directed by Simon West and a remake of the 70s starring Charles Bronson, explores the father-son relationship.

Donald, who has five children including actor Kiefer Sutherland, son, said: “I hope people will go to this movie and watch it and somehow come away with empathy, something that says,” Wait a second can I should be calling my son. ”

Or, “Maybe I should have a word with my father. ”

: The Mechanic is released in theaters Friday, January 28.

Donald Sutherland is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this morning.

Sutherland will star alongside that of his son, Kiefer Sutherland.

The veteran actor, who is 75, has starred in over 130 films. Sutherland was in many classics such as Dirty Dozen, “” JFK “and” Backdraft. “Many note his role as an agent in 1995 Citizen X better than his performance on screen.

The announcement comes just two weeks after the release of new film The Mechanic actor. Emmy-winning actor recently joked that his roles are becoming smaller in the films.

“I want to live all along – but unfortunately my job in life is now, I’m 75, I just want to say and how you think I’m fine but I have an incurable disease Cut.”
