Donald Driver And Dancing With The Stars

Donald Driver And Dancing With The Stars, “Dancing With the Stars” airs at 7 p.m. Monday on ABC with a two-hour premiere. “Dancing With the Stars” fans know the real March Madness doesn’t start until Monday. That’s when Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver steps on to the dance floor and shows off a whole new set of moves as one of 12 sequined celebrities competing on the 14th season of the popular ABC show.
You can bet Green Bay, the state of Wisconsin and Packers fans everywhere are pulling for “DD” to kick a little ballroom butt, because the only thing sure to sparkle more in the national spotlight than the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy is his smile.
Driver, 37, and his pro partner, the Australian-born Peta Murgatroyd, have been hard at work in rehearsals in Los Angeles since last month.
His tweets have made reference to an intense schedule in which he dances five hours a day – after first working out in the gym with a personal trainer. In between, there are interviews, wardrobe fittings (for pants he joked on Twitter were “too tight”) and finding time for his family. “It’s crazy but fun!” he tweeted last week.
As Driver gets ready to take on the Cha-Cha during Monday night’s two-hour live premiere, we’ve assembled our own panel of local “DWTS” judges to weigh in – minus the Len Goodman crankiness and bad Bruno Tonioli puns – on all the anticipation.
They’ll be back each Sunday to give their thoughts on Driver’s performance, have a little fun with whatever else goes down on the dance floor and look ahead to the following night’s show.
