Mark audience member asked Dr. Oz generic report on branded drugs. Mark asks if the FDA has said it is good for us – the generic, should we trust that.

Dr. Oz answers he was going to try generic drugs in almost all circumstances, as long as the drug is produced in this country. Dr. Oz does not care that there are variations in the assay from dispensing generic regular, and then we must ensure that both versions produce the same effect. Dr. Oz also recommends that one should ask their doctor for a different product that may work better as a brand, which is sometimes possible.
