Dish Network, The Associated Press reports that Dish Network is taking advantage of its sister company Sling Media to offer subscribers a technology that will allow them to watch live satellite television on their mobile devices. The good news for subscribers is that there is no additional charge for the service, but there are some prerequisites to get it.
One option is to get a Sling Media Slingbox while the second is just improving your Dish DVR. Among the new SlingBox integrated receivers and implemented technology and 200 to 400 and compared with independent SlingBox and sold for 180 to 300 $. Another cost, which may make it more attractive to the independent SlingBox is the extra 10 and a month subscribers have to pay for multiple DVR service if they do decide to upgrade your DVR.
Applications that allow subscribers to remotely view and change channels on your receiver is expected in the IPAD, iPhone, iPod and BlackBerry in September, while one for Android will be released in October.
