Detroit Police Shooting Video, Detroit cops have released surveillance video of a dramatic shootout between a gunman and seven police officers in a district final
Weekend, which resulted in the death of the suspect and injured four officers.
The frightening images, released Friday, shows two different angles shooter Lamar Moore quietly walk into the station on January 23.
The resident of 38 years, Detroit is approaching from the desktop before opening fire on officers who work there.
Several policemen were seen crouching and returning fire with handguns. After a few laps are triggered, Moore jumped over the counter and continues firing.
Moore and an officer wounded continue to exchange shots at close range, before he ran circles around the table collapses and eventually dies.
Detroit Police Chief Ralph Godbee said the video was released to show the “extraordinary heroism” of police officers in Detroit.
Moore’s motive was unclear. But according to the Detroit News, he was under investigation for allegedly holding a 13-year-old girl as sex slave.
The authorities have told CNN that the cops had stopped by the house of Moore for several hours before the shooting, but he was not home. The residence where he was staying caught fire and was severely damaged. That fire was ruled as arson.
Detroit police have released a video graphic 68-second in a shootout police district that left four officers wounded and the gunman dead.
Chief Ralph Godbee said that the video of Sunday’s attack on 6 City shows “extraordinary acts of heroism” by the officers involved.
When the start of the video-edited police, officers were seen standing around a desk top, chatting. Then shots are heard, the officers duck for cover, and an armed man threw himself on the big desk.
The gunman pointed his shotgun and fires at point blank range on three agents. The shooter and Cmdr. Brian Davis point their weapons at each other. The gunman shoots Davis. It falls to the ground, but manages to throw a trashcan at the gunman.
