‘Desperate Housewives’

‘Desperate Housewives’, In some “This program remains?” News, the four main actors on Desperate Housewives is blocking at least one more season. Assuming all goes as planned, this will bring Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria back for season 8 of the ABC comedy-drama Sunday night, with an option for season 9.

Desperate Housewives is a drama / comedy that follows the lives of women and their families living in the same suburban street where a lot of bad things and bad things happen at random. Time reported the story, stating that Huffman, Hatcher, Cross and Longoria are close to deals for season, each bringing in somewhere around 375K and an episode. “With the quartet on board, ABC renewed the filing of an eighth season, although it is unclear if that will happen right away or closer to the May upfronts.”

I loved Desperate Housewives for most of its fun, run and soap dramatic, but I ran out of steam in the series at some point around last season. Deadline Marc Cherry says the show will includes season. Personally, I wish they had finished a couple of seasons ago. The leap forward in Season 5 did not kill the story. In fact, I dare say that jumping five years ahead of me did a good job of restoration stories of the characters a bit. That said, two more seasons seems a long way to go to achieve complete closure. It would take a plot that sounds interesting to me back at this point.
