Derrick Rose Car Accident, Bulls guard Derrick Rose and his Bentley were rear-ended on the Kennedy Expy. just north of the Loop on Tuesday afternoon, but he was not hurt.
Rose was driving a beige 2011 Bentley south on the Kennedy when he stopped for backed-up traffic near Ogden Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. A Maryland man driving a green Saturn couldn’t stop in time and rear-ended him, police said.
A Chicago Fire Department ambulance was sent to the crash, but Rose refused treatment and told paramedics he would be examined by his own doctor at a later time, state police said.
The driver of the Saturn, Charles Trautwein, also wasn’t hurt. Neither car had passengers.
State police spokeswoman Monique Bond said both cars were towed from the scene but described the damages as “minor.”
