Dennis Rodman $800,000 Back Child Support, Dennis Keith Rodman, renowned retired American Hall of Fame professional basketball player of the National Basketball Association (NBA) is in the limelight for extremely poor financial conditions. The star that played for Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks will be sent to jail if he fails to pay for child support.

Dennis RodmanDennis Rodman owes more than $800,000 in back child support for two children he had with his third wife, Michelle Rodman, in addition to $51,000 in spousal support, according to a Los Angeles Times report. Rodman’s current financial standing is not too strong and such a hit would mean a lot for him.

The matter will be discussed in the court in Orange County, Calif., and chances are Rodman will have to face 20 days in jail, according to court documents. On Tuesday, Rodman’s sentencing was moved to May 29 pending a court decision. The sentence could be reduced to community service.

According to Rodman’s attorney, Linnea Willis, the five-time NBA champion cannot pay up because he’s broke and an alcoholic.

His fans and followers were surprised to hear this news because Rodman has quite a spoilt lifestyle which can’t be maintained if one doesn’t have money.
