Dear Anne, Most of the time, listen to a song as the final masterstroke of Lil Wayne, “Dear Anne (Stan paints. 2),” shows a torrent of emotions directly related to the content (a semi-creepy letter to a fan), or better than the (sound re Swizz Beatz ‘tATu “30 Minutes). After several listens, however, shivering and thoughts of anger caused by this matter, which should be on Tha Carter IV undoubtedly (sample issues away?), an odd reminder of what the future can not seem to understand.
Disturbing the music is not always a closed steel beam to the face. Even if Nine Inch Nails “heresy” packages in the “If there is a hell, I’ll see that there is” line, the most f***ing song by Trent Reznor can never aspire to liberation is (almost) always so quiet “injury “. So while Tyler the Creator “Yonkers” is sudden and shrill, which is the only possible way that can be consumed.
As for “Dear Anne”, the premise of trying to track dark Eminem “Stan” in itself, shows what the song could be achieved. Odd, obviously, look forward Em misogynist, homophobic, and generally pissed off moments of inspiration, but again, the reason horror movies (and therefore the horrorcore rap) is not scary is because they lose contact with abruptly humanity. Put Dido “Thank You” as the hook on “Stan” balancing compulsion and anger expressed by the character of the song – another bit of art from the first part.
Obviously, Swizz beats can take a load of credit for building the creepy background music from Weezy, but the original song is about having things in her nightmares Dido. Even without the young murderers-school video magic, Russian duo tATu contains all the desperation and obsession that can handle a pop song on “30 Minutes.” After Katy Perry reuse of “All the Things She Said” in “ET”, is moving!
Now we’re in the mood to fall from Lil Wayne “sequel” to you. That is, unless a relisted of “I Feel Like Dying” is the first order. “Dear Anne (. Stan Pt. 2)” begins with some scene setting: “With my pen in my right hand, and this is also the hand of micro / codeine in the Sprite can, ink on the white pad. And if Weezy is on a bus or in a prison cell, where, literally, write their thoughts or in a kind of nebula, possibly masturbation (“Let me change hands”), dreams, the desire for a relationship – either a person or a chemical – thick coats this topic. “Sometimes I wish it was not him, but I am” are the words of someone who has ceded control of her being to another force. You can decide what he is talking.
