September 20, 2010 by USA Post

Daylight Savings Time 2010, Bring out the jackets and rakes and get ready to go picking apples: Wednesday, September 22 is the autumnal equinox, which marks the first official day of fall.

At 11:09 ET on Wednesday, the sun is directly above the Earth’s Ecuador, and there will be equal hours of day and night. After Wednesday, the days grow shorter and nights longer.

The nights will be even more on Sunday, November 7 at 2 am, when daylight saving time ends and clocks “fall back” one hour.
