David Fortin Missing Case, A potential sighting of a Quebec teen boy who vanished three years ago has the Richmond RCMP asking for public assistance.

Based on a tip passed on from the Surete du Quebec, police believe David Fortin, 16, was spotted in Richmond, Jan. 31.

Fortin’s mysterious disappearance on Feb. 10, 2009, has tormented his parents, who believe he ran away because he was being bullied in school.

Fortin told his parents he was going to catch his morning bus to school as usual that day, but police said he never arrived.

Over the past three years, after reported sightings and extensive police searches in central Quebec turned up nothing,

According to information given to police investigators in Quebec, Fortin was spotted playing a guitar for money in front of the Superstore in Richmond, at 4651 No. 3 Road.
