Dark Knight Rises Trailer Released, The first trailer for “The Dark Knight Rises,” the third installment of restarting a critical and commercial success of Christopher Nolan, the Batman franchise, hit the web on Monday. The teaser trailer, which can be seen below, shows clips of the last two Batman films, a glimpse of the new villain Bane (Tom Hardy), and Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) speak to the Police Commissioner Jim Gordon hospitalized (Gary Oldman). The trailer premiered before “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II,” the latest installment of the hit franchise.
Last week, a promotional poster of the movie was released, showing a crumbling set of skyscrapers seen from below upward, forming the Batman logo. The image also appears in the teaser trailer.
In May it was reported that Matthew Modine, Tom Conti (“Reuben, Reuben”) and 11-year-old actress Joey King (“Ramona and Beezus”) signed a contract to join the cast of “The Dark Knight Rises” under the direction of Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale.
Warner Bros. Pictures officially announced in April that Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt joined the cast. According to the release of a study by The Associated Press, Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard will play a character called Miranda Tate “a board member of Wayne Enterprises willing to help a grieving Bruce Wayne still resume the philanthropic efforts of his father Gotham. ”
Both actors have worked with Christopher Nolan in 2010 before the movie “Inception.”
Both players joined their fellow “Inception,” co-star Tom Hardy, who will play the villain Bane, an escaped convict who acquires superhuman strength due to a series of experiments with drugs.
It was confirmed in mid-January that Anne Hathaway would star in “The Dark Knight Rises”, as Selina Kyle, whose alter ego is Catwoman. In the DC comic books, the character is the love interest of Bruce Wayne, who masquerades as the superhero Batman.
