Dark Knight CastingDark Knight Casting, Just when you thought The Dark Knight cast rises could not be bigger, it does. The three weekends joined the cast, and yesterday the film also added more. Friday, Variety reported that Matthew Modine, Tom Conti and Joey King have signed the papers are not disclosed. Modine, who played SA. Joker in the Vietnam War, Stanley Kubrick 1987 photo. He’ll be playing a character named “Nixon” in the superhero sequel, though details were not available. King, now eleven years old, played Ramona in Ramona and Beezus Quimby Fox, while Conti, meanwhile, played the title character in shima Nagisa Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence, and appeared last year in version of Julie Taymor The Tempest

Yesterday, Variety reported that Brett Cullen (LOST, Ghost Rider) and Chris Ellis (Catch Me If You Can, Transformers) also join the cast of the latest Batman movie by Nolan.

They play a judge (Cullen) and a priest (Ellis). That is actually more information than was usually expected from an early and a little lower casting for a film by Christopher Nolan.

The news of casting for “The Dark Knight stands” continues to develop this week, with two actors join the cast of the much-anticipated third – and final – installment of the franchise Christopher Nolan’s gritty Batman.

According to Variety, the actors Brett Cullen (pictured) and Chris Ellis were added to the cast of “The Dark Knight stands up.” The report said Cullen and Ellis would play a judge and a priest, respectively.

“Lost” fans probably remember Cullen as Goodwin Stanhope, one of the mysterious other survivors of Oceanic Flight 813 find early in the series. He also played the father of Johnny Blaze, stunt pilot Barton Blaze, in the 2007 film “Ghost Rider.”

As for Ellis, who played Admiral Brigham in “Transformers” and has appeared in a long list of other film projects and television genre, including “Planet of the Apes” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” among others.

The couple is joining the cast members Matthew Modine, Tom Conti and Joey King and a long list of returning cast members including Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman and Michael Caine. Cullen will also meet with the other “Lost” actor, Nestor Carbonell, who played Richard Alpert in the television series and film franchise returns to Gotham as mayor, Antonio Garcia.

The film will also feature new addition to Tom Hardy as Bane and Anne Hathaway as Selina “Catwoman” Kyle, Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt and John Blake.

As the judge and the priest could be in the movie, which is still in the air. Given the amount of new characters Nolan seems to be growing universe of Batman in this last section, there is a good chance of papers Cullen and Ellis may be unfamiliar to fans of comics. However, there is also a good chance that the reason for the roles have not been announced is because it would reveal too much about the plot of the film.
